Peconic Bay
In this project we took a traditional home and sprinkled it with modern touches. This was also a partial renovation. We replaced the client's existing flooring with white oak wide plank floors to create a modern and coastal feel to the space. We upgraded the kitchen with light millwork cabinetry, which replaced old, outdated dark wood cabinets. Nickel gap paneling in the Entryway ceiling curates a customized welcome for summer guests. The Primary Suite (photographing this weekend) was transformed from an outdated Y2K design to a serene oasis. We fully renovated the Primary Bath to create a custom steam shower that is outfitted with a stone bench and the stone continues in a picture frame detail around the shower opening. The walls are clad in a accent nickel-gap paneling that comes ¾ ways up the wall to continue the custom and curated design of the space. The hallway to the Primary Bedroom is covered in a Cole & Sons coastal wallpaper that emulates the Peconic Bay, which is situated just steps away from the home.
