Based in the Hamptons, Shea Smith Design is an interior design studio crafting spaces that are personal, purposeful & rich with character. To us, designing a home is more than just furniture choices. We work closely with our clients to create spaces that are intentionally personalized to their taste and daily rhythms.
Through initial mood boards to final install, we pride ourselves in designing homes that reflect the quiet luxury of those who live there.

Meet your designer
Welcome in! I’m Erin, founder of Shea Smith Design.
I live year round here in beautiful East Hampton. Having grown up on Long Island, I spent much of my childhood out east, and that early connection to coastal living has always been at the heart of how I approach design. I started this work because I believe a home should tell your story. It’s the layers, the history, the little touches that turn a house into a lived-in space that feels uniquely yours.
My process is a collaboration with each of my clients to understand not just their personality and style, but how the space can best serve their everyday life. The result, while an unparalleled expression of the homeowner themself, is always the same: a home that works as hard as it looks good.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me relaxing at my East Hampton residence with Winnie the goldendoodle, our beloved (and very opinionated) mascot at Shea Smith Design. Whether it's a quiet morning walk at Indian Wells, a breezy lunch break at Amber Waves, or a night of music at Talkhouse, life out east is where I feel most at home… And I can’t wait to make it yours too.
